The city is formed from an alliance of six smaller urban centres, under the title, the 'City of six town', which include Longton, Fenton, Hanley, Stoke, Burslem, and Tunstall. They all follow the line of the old A50 road, and the city its self is actually situated mid way between Birmingham and Manchester.
The hospitality trade in the city is thriving, and welcomes guests from all over the world, to sample the business and leisure delights of this busy conurbation.
Stay in a Stoke hotel for either business or pleasure, and you will be delighted to find The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery, The Etruria Industrial Museum, the Elizabethan Ford Green Hall, Gladstone Pottery Museum which is part of the European route of Industrial Heritage, the Ceramica Museum, and The Wedgwood Museum: Not forgetting the fantastic shops, boutiques, theatres, art galleries, museum's, cinema's, entertainment centres, restaurants, cafes and bars to be found in the city centre. Stoke hotels represent excellent value for money, and most have the kind of luxury services and amenities that you would expect to see in a London hotel. Your chosen hotel may have a concierge to welcome you, and assist with any problems you may have during your stay such as reserving a table in a local restaurant, theatre tickets or directing you to the best shops in the area.
